SERVICE CHANGES
30TH JANUARY 2012
The following services times or route will change:
513: Bolton - Bury
The 16:05 & 17:05 departures from Bolton & the 17:05 from Bury will now depart 15mins later Monday – Friday.
576: Bolton – Wigan via Blackrod
Will no longer serve Little Scotland & Haigh, will operate via Blackrod and Scot lane to Wigan. All journeys from Bolton will depart at 05past the hour.
714: Bolton - Middlebrook
Will now leave at the following times from Bolton:
0625, 0725, 0824, 0925 every hour until 1725. (Saturdays 0725 until 1725) and will Depart from Middlebrook at 0650 and every hour until 1750.
715 Bolton – Wigan via Westhoughton
Maytree Travel will operate the 1750 Bolton – Wigan and the 1845 Wigan – Bolton, This will not operate via Park Rd but Bolton Rd. Arriva weekly or day tickets are not valid.
575 Bolton – Horwich
Maytree Travel will operate the evening service Monday – Saturday at 2035, 2135 & 2235 from Bolton. First & Arriva day and weekly tickets are not valid on this service.
31 Farnworth – Manchester
Maytree Travel will operate this service Monday – Saturday.
1657 & 1757 journeys retimed from Manchester Monday - Friday
A bit about Maytree
Maytree Travel Ltd originally trading as Tyrer Bus (Bolton) had been in operation as part of Tyrer Tours Ltd, On 1st December 2008, when Tyrer Bus (Bolton) was operating with 10 vehicles and 25 staff, Robert offered Gary the chance to buy the majority share of the Bolton Operation, which he duly did, Bob remains a shareholder of Maytree Travel Ltd to give advice and continuity of business going forward.
The company is currently based in Bolton and has now grown, employing over 60 staff and operates a fleet of 26 vehicles many of which are under three years old and all are fully DDA compliant. The business profile is in the main to provide a high quality service with smart new vehicles. The future development will be around having this type of vehicle as they are of a very effective size to build on the current market share.
